Fixation on CO2 Ignores Real Driver of Temperature, Experts Say |
In February, The Epoch Times published 38 Premium Reports investigating claims relating to climate change, the presidential election, the DNC/RNC pipe bombs, and Chinese biolabs in the United States—among others.
Regarding the surge in premium reports, Epoch Times National Editor Ivan Penchoukov stated, "We started with a small team of some of the best reporters in the company and grew gradually from there. The politics team now consists of 23 reporters, a photojournalist, two assignment editors, and three copy editors."
The core of the team is located in our Washington office at 101 Constitution Avenue, overlooking the Capitol.
With a daily presence in the White House, the Capitol, the Supreme Court, and the State Department, our reporters gather original and exclusive material and pose questions to the nation's most significant decision-makers that other media outlets do not ask. |

From CNN To The Epoch Times |
Patrick Davis speaking at CPAC, 2022. |
Longtime news veteran Patrick Davis joined the Epoch Media Group earlier this year as our deputy bureau chief in Washington. Mr. Davis has nearly 30 years of experience in the media industry, having worked as the field operations manager at CNN for more than two decades, during which he oversaw coverage of some of the most significant and historic events of our time, including the 9/11 terror attacks, presidential inaugurations, Oval Office addresses, State of the Union addresses, state funerals, and countless election cycles, congressional hearings, and major hurricanes. Mr. Davis is passionate about creating and executing innovative and impactful media strategies that inform, engage, and inspire audiences around the world. He's also driven by a mission to uphold the highest standards of journalistic integrity, professionalism, and ethics. Over the course of his career, he has been honored with numerous Emmy, Murrow, and Peabody awards for his work. Mr. Davis studied journalism at the University of Tennessee, and upon graduation, he landed a dream job working for the incomparable Bernard Shaw at CNN's Washington bureau. Mr. Shaw was the stoic, unwavering voice reporting from the Al Rasheed hotel in Baghdad during the start of the first Gulf War. "Working with Bernie was truly an honor. The legendary Walter Cronkite was Bernie's mentor, and Bernie was mine, so I learned from the best. Bernie instilled in me the importance of ethical journalism, and telling the news straight, free of bias or spin," Mr. Davis said. |
Members of The Epoch Times editorial team, 2023. |
Mr. Davis carries on Mr. Shaw's legacy by mentoring young journalists and speaking at various conferences and colleges across the country. He teaches about the importance of the First Amendment and a credible, unbiased Fourth Estate that doesn't bend to the corporate imperative and holds the people in power accountable. As our deputy bureau chief, Mr. Davis is helping to expand our offices in Washington and lead our team of journalists, producers, and photographers to deliver high-quality and timely news content across multiple platforms, including print, digital, and video. He has also been assisting the producers and editors of some of our award-winning documentaries. But the majority of his time in 2023 was spent on the relaunch of NTD News, in which he has been instrumental in the overall vision and strategy. "We need to serve the American people, delivering facts-based truthful reporting on news and other information important to their daily lives, such as business, health and wellness, and human-interest stories. And we need to deliver a message of hope and optimism. While other news organizations seem intent on taking sides and dividing people, we want to bring people together," he said. |
